Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a growing commercial roofing contractor in the Denver area to identify a Sales Representative to join their team.


Position Summary

The Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact between the organization and its customers. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, identifying project opportunities, estimating projects, generating proposals, and managing projects through completion.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of sales, estimating, relationship management, and construction industry experience with the ability to develop and grow a book of business while successfully managing projects from concept to completion.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospect for potential clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, industry events, and business development activities.
  • Maintain and update customer and prospect information within CRM systems.
  • Conduct job site surveys for prospective production, maintenance, repair, and service projects.
  • Prepare estimates for service, repair, and production-related work.
  • Develop and deliver timely, accurate proposals.
  • Present, promote, and sell services to prospective and existing customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve established sales goals and business development objectives.
  • Determine and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Prepare budgets based on project scope and resource requirements.
  • Forecast resources required for successful project execution.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and work plans.
  • Monitor project costs and profitability.
  • Coordinate vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Provide project updates regarding strategy, progress, risks, and adjustments.
  • Utilize industry best practices throughout project execution.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms and customer relationship management practices.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional business relationships.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated track record of achieving goals.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, building products, commercial services, technical sales, project management, estimating, or business development.
  • Experience within commercial roofing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical contracting, elevators, restoration, building envelope, specialty construction, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Experience reviewing plans/specifications, estimating projects, and managing client relationships is highly desired.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, and use hands.
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry materials or supplies up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel to project sites, customer meetings, and industry events as needed.

  • Computer, printer, copier, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
  • Vehicle for travel to project sites, client meetings, and business development activities.

Working Conditions

  • Combination of office and field-based work.
  • Frequent local travel throughout the Denver metro area.
  • Regular jobsite visits and customer meetings.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions and active construction environments.
